Sir Roger Moore, Sandi Toksvig, Frank Skinner, Philippa Gregory and Phillip Schofield have joined forces with Diabetes UK by backing their favourite bridge, in a bid to encourage people across the UK to sign up for the charity's London Bridges walking challenge, taking place October 11.
Moore is backing Vauxhall Bridge, Skinner picked Lambeth, while the South Bank's 'artistic and entertainment connections' have drawn the backing of Toksvig, Gregory, and Schofield. Moore commented 'I was born and grew up a stone's throw away from Vauxhall and as we all now know the location of MI6, it's where 007 goes when he isn't travelling round the world taking down bad guys. So I have a particularly soft spot for Vauxhall Bridge'.
